The Robot: The Force 2.0

This years robot has a custom computerized numerical control (CNC) geared down 19:21 chassis with a 4 motor drive.  The three level sweeper system is a great improvement to last year's sweeper design. This helps us pick up the debris very effectively. We also have a lift system made up of 6 80/20 bars that help lift up the basket up to the scoring zones. Our basket's final design is 3.5 inches wide with doors controlled by servos and dumps left or right via a servo. We also have servos to help push down the zip-line levers, to hold onto the bottom churro, and to dump the climbers into the beacon basket. We also had many autonomous programs to worked well with any alliance.

The Game: ResQ

There is a 30 second autonomous period in which the robot has to run the autonomous program. In autonomous, the robot score climbers, trigger the beacon, and park in the safe zone or on the ramp. After the autonomous period, teleop begins which is where the robot is controlled by the drivers. The robot can do many things in the two minutes of teleop such as picking up the blocks or balls and delivering them in different baskets at different heights, and triggering zip liners. In the last 30 seconds of teleop the end game begins, the robot can score by ending up in different zones on the mountain.
