The Robot: Yoda

This is our robot from the 2014-2015 season which was made tetrix materials. The robot uses 4 Andymark motors geared together to power 8  wheels. It can quickly complete the large tube. The intake composed of fingers can pick up small and large balls. The continuous lift can extend 5 feet to any tube height including the center goal. This was one of our best years being 12th at the West Super Regionals.

2014-2015 Cascade Effect Robot

There is a 30 second autonomous period in which the robot has to run the program. In autonomous, the robot can drive off the ramp, score balls into the different sized tubes, score balls into the center structure, knock off the pole to release the balls, and park in the safe zone . After the autonomous period, teleop begins which is where the robot is controlled by the drivers. In the two minutes of teleop the robot can score balls into the different tube heights; the score is different points based on the tube heights and the amount of balls. In the last 30 seconds of teleop the end game begins, the robot can score into the center structure and park on the ramp or in the safe zone with the tubes.
